Sending a document over the Internet

You can send us documents securely.

This service is for you if you received a communication from one of our agents asking you to send us documents to complete the analysis of your file.

To send us your documents, you must use the online service Sending Documents to the Directeur de l’état civil .

If you submit documents on behalf of an organization (Curateur public du Québec, Bureau du coroner, etc.) or in a professional capacity (notary, lawyer, etc.), you must use the French version of the online service Transmettre des documents au Directeur de l'état civil. .

Note: This service cannot be used to request certificates, copies of acts or attestations. To find out how to submit such a request, see the Certificates and copies of acts section or the Attestation section.
