Departments and agencies that will or may be notified of birth

Agreements with departments and agencies authorizing the Directeur de l'état civil to communicate the necessary information to them for the application of the laws and programs they administer.

The table below presents the departments and agencies that will be notified automatically or that may be notified of the birth after you have given your consent so that the Directeur de l'état civil communicates that information relating to your child's birth. This will allow you, in a single step, to benefit from the birth-related programs and services they offer and facilitate your access to them.

To obtain or correct information, please directly contact the departments or agencies concerned.
